These nonelectric Sump Pump backups use a 1 1/4-inch suction pipe to create enough pressure to force water through a 1 1/2-inch Discharge Pipe , moving water outside the home. They are battery-less backup systems that use the pressure from the municipal water supply. Doing this allows the pump to expel two gallons for every gallon used.
