TALON Brown Waterproof Sand Cloth is a 100% waterproof sand cloth ideal for tough deburring, cleaning, and polishing of plumbing tubing, fittings, and parts exposed to water. This brown, waterproof, reusable abrasive is made of high-grade 120J aluminum oxide, impregnated into a strong jean cloth backing to help produce a tight, leak-proof solder joint. It can be used on both metal and plastic tubing and pipe, and is bonded with a waterproof phenolic resin adhesive. TALON Brown Waterproof Sand Cloth quickly cleans, deoxidizes, and polishes solder joints prior to sweat soldering. It is unaffected by most oils and solvents, making it an extremely flexible, durable, and reliable solution. The cloth measures 1-1/2" x 10 yd. (3.81 cm x 9.08 m).
