Why can't I just clean and reuse my Vapor Pad®?

Your Vapor Pad is constructed with an expanded aluminum base coated in a hydrophilic material that absorbs and distributes water. As mineral scale builds up during use, airflow is restricted. Washing the pad strips off the hydrophilic coating and crushes the aluminum mesh, rendering the pad unable to produce humidity.

How often should I change the GA35 Vapor Pad?

Replace your Vapor Pad 1 to 2 times per humidification season. Homes with heavy heating demand or hard water should replace the pad every 3 to 4 months to prevent scale build-up from blocking system airflow.
