When used in conjunction with Viessmann boilers, the low-loss header acts as hydraulic break, decoupling boiler and system circuits from each other. The low-loss header increases operational efficiency. In addition, the low-loss header helps eliminate debris from the heating system. The common supply temperature sensor located of the low-loss header connects to the Vitocontrol-S controller ensuring optimum staging of the boilers and accurate control of system supply water temperatures. The low-loss header must be used in multiple Vitodens 200 installations (maximum of 4 boilers).
