Sandblaster is the original money-saving self-cleaning water heater. It provides outstanding performance and installation flexibility for new construction and replacement applications. The Sandblaster SBD series offers installer-friendly features, including compact low-profile design, multiple options for water connections and low installation clearances.

The Sandblaster features a patented Hydro Cannon system that operates when cold water is connected through front. It reduces or eliminates sediment build-up inside the tank, maintaining rated thermal efficiency and reducing water heating costs. The self-cleaning system also maximizes the tank life and prevents corrosion.

This State water heater has a factory-installed draft diverter and an automatic motorized flue damper that helps minimize standby heat loss and save energy. The flue damper also provides flame failure response in less than one second.

Intermittent electronic ignition eliminates the need for a standing pilot, saving energy and enhancing safety. The water heater also has a power ON/OFF switch and a manual-reset gas shut-off device that prevents excessive water temperature. This eliminates the need for a standing pilot and saves energy.

The water heater offers multiple options for water connections, allowing you to connect the hot and cold water through the front, top or back of the unit. This gives you more flexibility and convenience in installing the water heater in tight spaces.

The Sandblaster has a PermaGlas Ultra Coat glass lining that provides superior protection against corrosion and leaks. The water heater also has CoreGard anode rods with stainless steel core that provide additional corrosion protection.
