We received an S2 Washlet to demo the unit, and we're excited to share our thoughts. This ultra-slim seat is a big upgrade from the Toto C2 Washlet; it looks great and gives you continuous warm water thanks to its tankless design. This is also how they managed to get the slimmer profile. You still get all the key TOTO cleaning features, like EWATER+ and a heated seat, making it a fantastic value. It's a great entry level bidet seat for anyone who wants unlimited warm water with an adjustable spray nozzle. The only thing that causes some friction is the remote is an attached control panel on the side of the unit.

The S2's biggest selling point is its instantaneous water heating system, which provides endless, on-demand warm water, a major step up from older tank-based seats. The adjustable warm water spray, along with the oscillating and pulsating options, ensures a thorough and comfortable clean. The only minor drawback is the warm air dryer, which, while functional, is not fast enough to completely eliminate the need for a final pat-dry, or at least that was the case for me and my tush!

Installation is simple and can typically be completed in under an hour by a DIY enthusiast. It is the same process as the Toto C2 we installed in this video. Operation is handled via the side-mounted arm control panel, which keeps the design clean but is not as convenient as a wireless remote. The inclusion of a bowl nightlight is a fantastic addition for middle-of-the-night use.
