Sharkbite 45-degree elbows allow the user to connect any combination of copper, PEX cpvc, or pe-rt pipe together to form a 45-degree connection. These are ideal for hard piping applications where a 90-degree bend is too much. With no soldering, clamps, unions or glue required, it's as simple as inserting the pipe into the fitting deep enough to be sealed by our specially-formulated o-ring. Once inserted, the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip the pipe. This push-to-connect fitting is designed for potable water and radiant heating (including underground or behind-the-wall) applications with no access panels required. It is rated up to 200 degrees f and 200 psi.
- Innovative push-to-connect design makes for quick and easy installation when connecting two pieces of pipe. Ideal for working in tight spaces. Faster install time and ease of use reduces installation errors.
- Compatible with PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT and SDR-9 HDPE pipe in any combination; No special tools, crimping, glue or soldering required; Can be installed in wet lines; Approved for underground and behind-the-wall applications with no access panels (wrapping required when burying underground); Large diameter fittings (1-1/4 in. - 2 in.) require a Stiffener (sold separately) when connecting to PEX pipe; Remove using a Disconnect Clip or Disconnect Tongs (both sold separately); Rated for 200 psi and 200 deg F (93 deg C); 25-year warranty.
