Pennco Silver 1609HSID 299,000 BTU Cast Iron Natural Gas Boiler

With an efficiency of up to 82%, the 1609HSID Boiler features cast iron sections and push nipples. An integral draft diverter protects against harmful back drafts to ensure safe operation. Low water cut-off, pressure limit control and pop safety valve are also standard safety features. The 1609HSID Boiler incorporates a 6" steam chest which allows the boiler to generate ample amounts of steam. The 2 1/2" supply tappings provide easy access for steam to enter the distribution system and heat your home quickly.

• Exceptional Heat Exchanger Design: Features a dependable cast iron heat exchanger with cast iron push nipple connections. The sections and push nipples expand at the same rate when heated. By using similar materials instead of less expensive gaskets, the boiler maintains a water tight seal.
• CycleGard CG400 LWCO: CycleGard low water cut-off is equipped with an Intermittent Level Test. This important feature adds protection against false signals that can be caused by foam and volatile water conditions inside the boiler. The Intermittent Level Test removes power from the burner at preset intervals. During the test, foam dissipates and the water level stabilizes - allowing CycleGard to monitor the true water level in the boiler assuring safe and accurate operation.
