Introducing the Saniflo Sanibest Pro Elongated Combo (Sanibest Pro Grinder + Elongated bowl + Toilet Tank + Seat—components sold separately). Saniflo's vitreous china toilets are designed to be durable with a high-gloss finish for an easy-to-clean surface. These floor-mounted, rear-discharge toilets have the desired height to meet comfort and the aesthetics to provide a unique style. Saniflo's high-efficiency toilets use 1.28 gallons per flush, and are recognized by the EPA's water-saving WaterSense program. 

The complete toilet system comes with everything needed for installation, including a stylish soft-close toilet seat. It incorporates a grinder system, which is ideal for uncontrolled environments in both residential and commercial applications (i.e. rental unit, offices, warehouses, etc.). 

Experience Premium Saniflo Products 

The unit consists of a pressure chamber that controls its operation, along with a motor that drives both the stainless steel cutting blade and the pump. When the flush is initiated, water entering the Saniflo Sanibest Pro triggers a micro switch located in the pressure chamber, which starts the motor. The motor is permanently sealed in an oil-filled enclosure. A single spindle/shaft is responsible for driving both the impeller and the blades, resulting in minimal moving parts.

As the blades rotate at a speed of 3600 RPM, water and organic waste enter the chamber and are transformed into a slurry. The reduced solids are collected at the bottom, while the impeller, positioned beneath the motor, ejects the waste. The unit is capable of pumping the effluent up to 25 feet vertically and/or 150 feet horizontally, provided there is a gravitational decline. Once the water level in the container decreases, the micro switch deactivates. On average, the Sanibest Pro completes a full operating cycle in approximately 10-12 seconds, although this duration may vary depending on the configuration of the discharge pipe.

Moreover, the Saniflo Sanibest Pro can handle the disposal of gray water from various other sanitary fixtures, such as sinks, bath/showers, urinals, and even washing machines (via indirect connection).

If a bathtub or shower is being added, a base must be constructed. This base should be made from a 2"x 8" piece of material positioned on its edge to accommodate the installation of a p-trap and ensure a 1/4" per foot slope for proper gravity flow towards the pump unit.

Efficiency & Convenience 

The wastewater from the sanitary fixtures is released into the Sanibest Pro through two 2-inch inlets located on opposite sides of the housing. The top discharge elbow of the Sanibest Pro can be rotated 360 degrees to suit the specific installation requirements. To prevent backflow into the unit, a non-return valve is included in the assembly. Additionally, the unit features a vent connection on the lid, which is a necessary requirement according to plumbing codes.

It is important to note that the vent system should be a two-way air vent, as all plumbing codes mandate this. The use of one-way air vent systems such as mechanical vents, air admittance valves, or similar devices is not allowed. It is highly recommended to connect the system to a Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) circuit for safety purposes.

Performing periodic maintenance on the unit is convenient without the need to disconnect it from either the toilet or the rest of the plumbing system. A service contractor can easily access the electrical components and the level sensor mechanism of the pump through a service panel. The Sanibest Pro unit must be connected to our rear discharge toilet, which consumes less water compared to a standard toilet.

The Saniflo Macerating Toilet 

The Saniflo Sanibest Pro is specifically designed to handle various sanitary products that may have been flushed down the toilet, including items like condoms, sanitary napkins, q-tips, dental floss, and more.

This product has obtained certification according to the standards of both the United States and Canada. It adheres to the macerating standard, being CSA Certified and IAPMO (UPC) listed for the US, as well as complying with the Macerating Standard CSA B45.9 for Canada.

While all the components can be purchased separately, it is important to note that the Sanibest Pro functions as a system. Therefore, to complete the installation, a toilet bowl (083 or 087), a toilet tank (005), and a grinder unit (013) need to be purchased. If desired, an optional extension pipe (030) is available for installing the pump behind the wall. Please be aware that in commercial installations, plumbing codes require the use of an elongated bowl (087) with this system.
